This was just one of the amazing birds I saw today. I also saw a hawk, chickadees, sparrows, two varieties of nuthatch, blue jays and best of all ... what seemed to me to be a small, young, rather gray-colored blue jay. It was just as curious about me as I was about it ... repeatedly flying close to the window, trying to see inside. Several times it perched right on the outside window sill about two feet from me and the camera and peeked wide-eyed in the window right at me. Too bad the picture of that bird was not so good. I hope I see him again.
